Heat Check
Carry boxes on a 104°F Lubbock afternoon, on a computer or in a headset. Water, shade and AC keep your body temperature down. Ignore them and you’ll see what heat stroke looks like.
Weekend projects
Things I build on weekends, mostly tools for problems I run into at school.
Pico Logic Analyzer
Eight channels at up to 100 MS/s from a $4 board. The Pico captures with PIO and DMA, and the browser decodes UART, I2C and SPI.
ECE Stockroom
Students order and rent parts against their team’s budget. Staff run the front desk, inventory, lab access and the 3D print queue.
